Dex Entry:  

Rutppy lives in colonies of up to 300 subordinates, each colony has a queen. 

Their nests are built nearby bodies of water, the bigger colonies can usually be found in deep underground caves but smaller colonies have been recorded closer to the surface. 

Rutppy’s shovel arms and drill-like nose make them remarkable at digging. Modern tools are inspired by this Pokemon. 

Origin of design: 

Rutppy was first made in 1998, it was one of my favourite fakemon that I have made.

It's based on the Naked Mole-Rat, shuffle and drills. Its shiny is based on its original colours from 1998. 

Name origins: Rutppy 

Rutrum ( Latin for Shovel ) + Sand puppy (another name for naked mole-rat)
